Welcome to Newport Irvine Surgical Specialists. We are committed to providing quality care utilizing the most modern surgical techniques available. The surgeons of NISS have a broad range of specialized expertise, and apply the latest advances to the care of their patients, including: laparoscopic/minimally invasive and robotic abdominal surgery, gallbladder, gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery, breast care and treatment,  hernia repair, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, emergency hospital-based care, and many other areas. Here are the steps you need to take to get started:

1. Make an appointment

Appointments can be made Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Please call (949) 791-6767.

***Please note that your insurance plan may require an authorized referral for an appointment with a surgical specialist/practice. Please contact your referring physician to ensure the necessary referral is in place before your visit. 

2. Print and complete your forms

Save time by completing the New Patient Packet before your visit! If you do not have the capability to print the patient forms, please contact the office and a representative would be happy to mail them to you.

3. Get directions to our office

Visit our locations page and get personalized driving directions to the office where your appointment is scheduled.

4. We look forward to seeing you!

Please remember to bring your insurance card and photo identification, and arrive 15 minutes early in order to complete any additional paperwork before seeing your physician. Please present your completed forms to the receptionist upon your arrival.

Who we are

Newport Irvine Surgical Specialists is a multi-specialty surgical group that has brought eleven premier Board Certified surgeons together in one practice. The physicians of NISS are highly trained surgeons who are continually advancing with medicine, using the latest innovations in surgical care such as robotic and minimally invasive surgery. The physicians have ties to the Newport Beach, Irvine, Huntington Beach and Aliso Viejo communities. The surgeons of Newport Irvine Surgical Specialists offer a variety of expertise and experience in the treatment of General, Laparascopic, Robotic, Minimally Invasive, Endocrine, Breast, Oncologic, Foregut, Hepatobiliary and Colon and Rectal Surgery as well as wound care and laser treatment. Some examples include: gallbladder removal, hernia repair, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, aderenalectomy, splenectomy, breast surgery and the management of breast cancer, melanoma surgery, soft tissue mass/lipoma removal, anti-reflux surgery, hemorrhoidectomy, hemorrhoid banding, colon surgery and rectal surgery.
