Nine surgeons with reputations for excellence in patient care are now united as Newport Irvine Surgical Specialists (NISS).   As individuals we have been dedicated to the care of patients at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, and in surrounding communities, for many years. We came together as NISS to provide the best and most timely possible surgical care to our patients, and to assure our referring physicians that their patients are in the best of hands.

We are pleased to announce the opening of our new office suite adjacent to Hoag Hospital in the Hoag Health Center Newport Beach, with proximity to primary care physician, specialist offices, lab and imaging facilities.

Our surgical specialists employ the latest advanced technologies to meet the needs of patients, with expertise in many disciplines. To name a few:

Who we are

Newport Irvine Surgical Specialists is a multi-specialty surgical group that has brought eleven premier Board Certified surgeons together in one practice. The physicians of NISS are highly trained surgeons who are continually advancing with medicine, using the latest innovations in surgical care such as robotic and minimally invasive surgery. The physicians have ties to the Newport Beach, Irvine, Huntington Beach and Aliso Viejo communities. Patients are our number one priority and we pride ourselves on providing the highest level of care and attention.

What we do

The surgeons of Newport Irvine Surgical Specialists offer a variety of expertise and experience in the treatment of General, Laparascopic, Robotic, Minimally Invasive, Endocrine, Breast, Oncologic, Foregut, Hepatobiliary and Colon and Rectal Surgery as well as wound care and laser treatment.
